LHSAA Executive Committee Rehears Zachary High School’s Appeal

At the request an LHSAA Executive Committee member on the prevailing side of the recent vote on Zachary High School's appeal of a sportsmanship penalty ruling, President Brent Vidrine reconvened a15 member committee via telephone conference.  A motion was made to reduce Zachary High School's restrictive probation to disciplinary probation for the 2011-12 school year which allows Zachary High School to continue in the baseball playoffs.   The motion was passed by a vote of 7-6.  A second motion was also made that the Zachary High School baseball team cannot play the next five games, including the 2012 playoffs, with the school's head coach in attendance in any manner.
