The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) and Cajun Industries congratulate Emilee Christine Cockerham, a junior of Winnfield Senior High School, for winning the 2013 LHSAA-State Farm Prep Classic Poster and Program Cover Contest!

Emilee will be featured in this year’s Prep Classic souvenir program, and her artwork will serve as the official poster and program cover for the 2013 LHSAA-State Farm Prep Classic. She will also enjoy $100, recognition at halftime during the Class 2A Championship and overnight accommodations in New Orleans for herself and her art teacher, Ms. Carneshia Willis, to watch the Prep Classic.

Emilee, the daughter of Christine and Craig Cockerham, is a high school junior in the Winn Parish Gifted and Talented Art Program and serves as president of her high school’s chapter of the Youth Art Council of America. One of her art pieces currently resides in the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion as part of First Lady Supriya Jindal’s art initiative for high school students. She thanks her art teacher, Ms. Willis, for helping provide her with the tools and techniques required to achieve these prestigious honors.

The LHSAA thanks all students who entered artwork for this contest as well as Cajun Industries for its continued support of high school athletics and this program.
