Scholarships and Awards
Each applicant must show ample evidence that he/she is capable of succeeding at the college level (must send a copy of the high school transcript, GPA, rank in class, ACT, or SAT scores). There will be no discrimination as to sex, race, creed or nationality. These scholarships, in addition to other grants or financial aid such as scholarships, loans, grants or work-study cannot exceed the total cost of the educational expenses for one school year.
Coca-Cola Scholarship PDF Word
Coca-Cola awards six (6) $1,000 college scholarships to senior student-athletes who participated in at least one LHSAA recognized sport during his / her senior year. The student-athlete must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA after 7 semesters of high school study, and scored at least a 20 on the ACT or a 950 on the SAT.
Fodale Energy PDF Word
Fodale Energy awards one (1) student-athlete graduating from an LHSAA member school and in pursuit of a business degree with a minimum of a 3.5 GPA.

Piccadilly Restaurants awards two (2) $2,500 scholarships; one male and one female. These scholarships are awarded only to student-athletes attending LSU in Baton Rouge in the College of Education.

The Louisiana High School Coaches Association awards four (4) $1,000 scholarships to qualified and deserving high school graduates. All applicants must be the son, daughter, or legally adopted child of a member of the LHSCA. All applicants must be nominated by a current or past member of the LHSCA, and applications must be signed by current school Principal. Said member must have belonged to the LHSCA for the 5 years just prior to the submission of the scholarship application. Children of deceased members are eligible to apply if member belonged to the LHSCA for five years just prior to death.
