It is no secret that coaches are the driving force behind high school sports in Louisiana. So it is only appropriate for a group of coaches who distinguished themselves in unique ways to make up the Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame induction class for 2017. B.J. Guzzardo, who won a state championship as a coach at Kentwood and is a long-time assistant executive director of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association, helps headline the group. CST To Broadcast Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Prep Classic

The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA), Cox Sports Television (CST) and the NFHS Network have agreed on a partnership that will televise all nine championship games of the Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Prep Classic. The Division I-IV games are slated to take place from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Friday, December 2, while the Class 1A-5A championship games are set for the next weekend, December 9-10. 2016 Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Volleyball State Tournament

BATON ROUGE, La. (November 9, 2016) - The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) kicks off the 2016-17 state championship season this weekend at the 2016 Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Volleyball State Tournament taking place at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner. 40 teams across five Divisions will compete for state championship honors over three days. Among those competing are all 2015 defending state champions, including Mt. LHSAA and Cox Sports Television Announce Partnership

BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) and Cox Sports Television (CST) have agreed on a partnership that will televise multiple state championship events as well as the Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Prep Pairings Show.
