BATON ROUGE, LA (August 4, 2016) – The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) has announced Justine Buckland as the new Director of Finance. Buckland comes to the LHSAA after two and a half years at Postlethwaithe & Netterville, the largest Louisiana-based accounting and business advisory firm. She replaces the former Director of Finance, Erin Tureau, who left the LHSAA after five years as her family relocated out of state.
“We will certainly miss Erin and the professionalism she brought to our office,” according to Executive Director Eddie Bonine. “But we are very excited to have Justine on board. She understands the culture of the association and the values high school athletics promote. I expect the transition to be very smooth.”
Buckland previously interned at the LHSAA under Tureau for more than a year while earning her degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University (LSU). She then went on to earn her license as a Certified Public Accountant while specializing in taxes, external audits, and bookkeeping at Postlethwaithe & Netterville.
Before attending LSU, Justine graduated from Dutchtown High School where she played both volleyball and softball for the Lady Griffins.
