By LHSAA rules, all of these schools’ memberships are on a one-year conditional period during which the schools cannot play for championship honors in any branch of athletics. However, competition against these schools during that time will count in any sport involving a power points system.

If schedules have already been drawn up in any sport that these schools compete in, the district is not required to redo those schedules for 2012-13.

The LHSAA welcomes these new schools to the Association.
