(June 7th, 2011) Interviews to select Assignment Secretaries in various sports were conducted around the state by an interview selection committee. The committee would like to thank all the applicants for their interest in continuing improvement for all of our officials in the state. The selection of the Assignment Secretaries for the 2011-12 school year are as follows: (click the link below to view)
The official’s online test for Football, Basketball, Baseball and Softball will be offered at selected locations throughout the state (click here for locations). To take the test you must first register online. Each testing location will have a specific testing time. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so you can sign-in and receive your instructions. No one will be allowed to begin the test if you are more than 30 minutes late. If you arrive after this time you will be asked to reschedule the test. Further instructions will be posted for each particular sport. Contact your assignment secretary for more information. Note: There is a deadline date to register for each test.
High school graduation shouldn't have to end your involvement with high school athletics. Have you been away from the game for awhile or never have had experience as an official? You can become an official by joining a local officials' association sanctioned by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.
